Why did you decide to join Shionogi?
The first time I came in contact with Shionogi, it was directly noticeable, that there is something very different - but very special in the air.
All colleagues have a common target in mind: build up and establish a company in Europe and work on a promising product portfolio.
My decision to join Shionogi was made - I wanted to be part of this challenge.
What is your favourite Shionogi ‘way of working’ and how do you try to live it each day?
My most favourite way of working is ‘wacky ideas’ because it’s so uncommon in the pharmaceutical environment.
In my daily work I try to implement this way of working by taking a timeout where possible. Making this a routine, let’s me think about projects and campaigns in a different and new way, and allows more creativity.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was five or six years old, an accident occurred directly next to me. In this second, I decided I wanted to become a nurse.
I suppose my affinity for health related issues was natural to me.
How would you describe Shionogi Limited?
Shionogi Limited is a company, which is full of inspiration and potential and will hopefully one day become a leader in the pharmaceutical world.
